I don't really know how to describe these shots ... I think they speak for themselves.  Abby is a true original and it just wouldn't be a family gathering without some impromptu dance moves from Abby.

Fun with the Rebel

We have a Canon Rebel SLR camera and during Christmas I had some fun playing with the different settings and the great lighting (candles) and mood of Christmas.  Certainly I have a lot to learn about my camera's features and how to manipulate them but I had some fun with the holiday scenes.

Christmas Morning (2011)

 

Christmas with kids is just magical, and David and I were really excited for Lucy to experience Christmas 2011.  She was approximately 18 months old, so just old enough to start to enjoy the magic of Christmas.  Here are some shots of our Christmas morning before we joined the rest of the Millers at Nonnie and Pappy's house.

This was Lucy's second year visiting Santa.  This Santa was of the budget variety (he was, perhaps, not yet of legal drinking age) and Lucy was not especially excited.  But how cute is she!
