Let me take this opportunity to share with you a cautionary tale. If you feed your child nothing but candy all day (or even almost nothing but candy), it could possibly end with her vomiting all over both her parents and herself, just as you are about to leave for Easter dinner. So consider yourself warned, just in case that was not already obvious to anybody with a couple of brain cells. And then if you finally arrive at the Easter dinner potluck (late, because everyone had to bathe again because of the vomit) and promptly spill most of your quinoa pistachio and cranberry pilaf in the driveway, you just have bad luck. We did not
set out to only feed our child candy, we just did not notice
how much she consumed, especially in relation to
how little brunch she ate. Oops! Vomit and spillage aside, we still had a great Easter. But by the time all of that happened I wasn't in much of a mood for photography, so there are not any photos from later in the day. Cest la vie!

Nonnie and Pappy brought Lucy a gardening set for Easter, so of course she wore her gardening gloves and apron to hunt eggs in our back yard. |
